While here in the States we saw the Range Rover come over in the four-door and long wheelbase country models, the two-door Range Rover Classic was a popular style that never came across the Atlantic. Paired with a 2.5L turbo diesel, the truck becomes a spacious, go-anywhere rig with enough room to carry adults and cargo in the rear.

We’re pleased to support the Middleburg Humane Foundation (MHF) and worked with them in the process of photographing our Range Rover. MHF operates a non-profit, 4.5-acre farm shelter in Marshall, Virginia, providing a haven for abused, neglected, and “at risk” animals, both large and small. Sharing the spotlight with the Range Rover are Dabney and Worthy, a pair of 20+ year old horses who weren’t quite sure what to make of the truck resting in their field, and Holly the cat, herself an MHF-veteran. MHF has a new Resale Boutique in Marshall VA. If you’re local, we encourage you to stop in and support the Foundation. MHF is online at www.middleburghumane.org

The Middleburg Humane Foundation (MHF) traces it's roots back to 1987, and since 1994 has been operating a 4.5-acre farm shelter in Marshall, VA. MHF provides a haven for abused, neglected, and "at risk" animals, both large and small. MHF receives no federal, state or county funding, relying entirely on the generosity of private donors and sponsors. They have a wide array of cats, dogs, horses, and more available for adoption.

MHF recently opened the MHF Resale Boutique at 8531 West Main St, Marshall, VA, where donations and sales go to directly support the MHF mission. The Foundation is also working to establish a new, state-of-the-art equine rehabilitation and animal rescue facility on a 23-acre parcel of land outside Marshall, VA. They're 82% of the way to their fundraising goals. If you're able to support, we encourage you to do so.

Driveline. This truck retains its original 2.5L four-cylinder VM inline turbo diesel and is mated to a five-speed transmission and high-low transfer case. Truck has 126,138 km on the odometer, or just a little over 78,000 miles. The diesel cranks to life with ease even on some of the coldest days we’ve had this winter, and shifts beautifully through the gears. Cruising speeds of 70/75mph are comfortable, helping make the truck a utility player in your stable.

Exterior. The Trocadero Red paint presents nicely. The trim is complete and intact around the truck. The chassis and body are largely devoid of rust, with only a few spots showing on the upper portion of the rear tailgate surrounding the glass. Tires are relatively recent and have plenty of life left. The original Rostyle wheels emphasize the classic Range Rover look. Door locks all function, and the power lock on the driver’s door operates both the passenger and rear hatch.

Interior. Clean and original, the tan cloth interior presents beautifully. Unstained and untorn, the interior is a small time capsule transporting you all the way back to… 1992. The dashboard, gauge cluster, and center console are all complete and intact. The radio is aftermarket. Heat blows well while the wipers, lights, signals, and gauges all work exactly as they should. Radio has been replaced with an aftermarket head unit.
